Skilltech is a local contractor undertaking meter reading in Katherine and surrounding regions, They have two positions availble for an immediate start.

THe following positions are available.

1. Full time 7.6hrs per day $34ph plus $35day on call plus vehicle. Must be fit to walk up to 10km per day

1. Part time 20hours per week to walk and read water and electricity meters must have own vehicle.

Sklltec read all the electricity and water meters in Katerine and surrounding regions

Multiple Full-Time and Casual positions for Defence Security Officers in Katherine and NT with NV1 or Baseline clearance

* Full time and casual roles available across Katherine (RAAF Tindal) NT Defence for Government Cleared Security Officers
* We will assist you to obtain a AGSVA clearance
* Sign on and retention bonus for candidates who hold an NV1 clearance

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a number of full-time Security Officers who are Australian Citizens with a current Security licence and are looking to transition into the Defence side of the industry. A background in Defence is ideal and transport or Construction would also be well regarded.
* FULL-TIME and CASUAL roles available once Government Clearance is approved
* We will assist with the process of obtaining a Baseline or NV1 clearance
* Located in Katherine NT

YOU WILL NEED:
* Ability and desire to obtain and maintain a high-level clearance;
* Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Be a lateral thinker in solving issues that may arise
* Have an understanding of communication lines and chain of command
* Have an understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols including fire systems
* Protect and maintain security & integrity of building and infrastructure
* Submit electronic or paper incident and hazard reports
* Be well presented and well-spoken
* Have good IT skills

REQUIREMENTS:
* MUST be an Australian Citizen to obtain AGSVA clearance
* Current Valid NT Security Licence
* A current and valid NT Driver’s Licence
* A current First Aid Certificate

This is a fantastic opportunity to upskill into a security guard postions in Katherine. . Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.  You must complete the Job Ready Program to be eligible for the course.

For those eligible funding will be provided for all necessary licences including National Crimal History Check,  Working with Vunerable People (Ochre Card), Fingerprints and Secuirty Licence on completion of training.
